Interview: Aroah
Hier wird mal wieder hochtrabend von der neuen Hoffnung des leisen Gitarrenpops gesprochen: Aroah alias Irene Tremblay. Erst 21 Jahre jung soll sie sein und wird schon von Presse und Fans in eine Liga mit Songwritergrößen wie Joni Mitchell und Will Oldham gestellt. Dieser Vergleich hinkt natürlich ein wenig, dennoch ist ihr erstes Album No podemos ser amigos ein sehr schönes Indie-Folk Album. Die 14 Songs – teils in englischer, teils in spanischer Sprache gesungen – entwickeln ihre eigene spröde Schönheit.
