Die Indie-Pop Helden The Vaselines klingen auf ihrem neusten Wert V For Vaselines so frisch wie vor 27 Jahren, als ihr Debutalbum veröffentlicht wurde. Neue Solo-Alben gibt es von dem ehemaligen Boo Radleys Chef Martin Carr (Daumen rauf) sowie von dem ewigen Indie-Nerd mit der Kassenbrille Erlend Øye (Daumen runter). Für eine Prise Garage-Rock sorgen King Tuff und mit Childhood ist eine neue sympathische Band aus London zu hören, die vor kurzem live beim Reeperbahnfestival überzeugen konnte.
